Course Overview:

This Health and Safety Awareness course is aimed at those who are or who are planning to work on a construction site within the United Kingdom. This training course, coupled with the touch screen test, enables you to apply for the CSCS Site Operative Green Card. Who should attend? Those looking to work in the construction industry and looking to apply for a CSCS card. Aims and objectives of the course: This course ensures that: Individuals on site understand what is expected of them. To ensure that they contribute to the safety of the workplace. Why they are carrying out their identified duties.


This course requires a training area/room with the facilities to comfortably accommodate the maximum number of delegates. The delegates will require a table and equipment to make notes and the instructor needs power and a place to show a presentation. The area needs to be big enough for demonstration purposes as well.



Throughout the course there is a constant assessment by the instructor who will ask questions about what he has covered in the course, some may be theoretical and some may be practical. At the end of the course there is a 30 question, multiple choice paper to be completed by all delegates. A pass mark of 72% is set for all delegates.


All delegates who successfully complete this course will receive an accredited certificate from CITB.
