This course for key duty holders under the CDM 2015 will give delegates an understanding of the legal requirements of their role.
This course is designed for anyone appointed as a key duty holder under CDM who conducts their understanding as client, designer, principal contractor, contractor or self employed person. The course is designed to enhance a management approach with regard to specific duties and responsibilities as outlined in CDM and associated guidance.
The aim of this one day course is to provide delegates with a practical approach to the regulations.
State legal obligations required by CDM.
Identify the requirements of the regulations if a notifiable project.
State the responsibilities, roles and functions of each of the parties in CDM.
Identify the main contents of health and safety information packs.
Identify the main contents of the construction phase plan.

This course requires a training area/room with the facilities to comfortably accommodate the maximum number of delegates. The delegates will require a table and equipment to make notes and the instructor needs power and a place to show a presentation.
Our training centre is based in Braintree, Essex. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and other refreshments can be made available by request.

Throughout the course there is a constant assessment by the instructor who will ask questions about what he has covered in the course, some may be theoretical or some may be practical. At the end of the course there is a 30 question multiple choice paper to be completed by all delegates. A pass mark of 72% is set for all delegates.
All delegates that succeed with the course will receive an A4 certificate of attendance that will be valid for 3 years.
